Lincoln Publishing is a full-service mail order/Internet company selling reprinted literature for predominantly Ford automobiles and other classic automobile marques from the years 1906 through the 1970s.

History

Lincoln Publishing was founded in 1993 by Doug McIntosh as a small business selling automotive literature to local restorers and various Ford Model T & A parts dealers. In 1994, Lincoln Publishing purchased Polyprint Books Co. of Nashville, TN. This greatly expanded the automotive literature offerings of Lincoln Publishing, now covering the years 1906 through the 1970s. Lincoln Publishing purchased Post Publications of Arcadia, CA in 1995. This once again expanded Lincoln’s literature offerings to include many additional non-Ford titles, as well as continuing to extend its Ford offerings.

In its quest to offer the restorer one of the most complete reprinted literature offerings available, Lincoln Publishing again expanded in 2005 by purchasing The Evergreen Press of Canyon Lake, CA. This added the “Ford and Chevy Road Series” titles authored by Ray Miller.

With a sharp eye on the road ahead, and a keen focus on the automotive legacies celebrated in our rearview mirror, Lincoln Publishing will continue to offer the restorer the most complete and hard-to-find print and electronic listings for Ford and other automotive marques.
